"I believe that justice is not a default state, but a hard-won outcome. It requires an intimate knowledge of how the State builds its cases and the resolve to dismantle them piece by piece."

The Prosecutor’s Perspective

Before entering private practice in 2016, I served as a prosecutor at the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office for nearly 15 years. This tenure was not merely a job; it was an education in the mechanics of the Texas legal system. I served as a Chief Felony Prosecutor for more than nine years, supervising other attorneys and managing the same dockets where my clients' futures are now decided.

Having tried more than one hundred jury trials—including capital murder cases where the State sought the death penalty—I understand the weight of the courtroom. I have seen how criminal prosecutors manage their dockets and how judges interpret the law from the bench. This inside knowledge allows me to anticipate movements before they happen.

My practice is built on the belief that every individual deserves a personalized defense. Whether resolving a matter through quiet negotiation or aggressive courtroom litigation, the goal is always the same: to protect your legal rights and achieve the most favorable outcome possible.

A Precise Defense

Legal representation should not be a template. Every case involves specific facts, nuanced histories, and human consequences. I pride myself on an attention to detail that identifies the weaknesses in the State's evidence.
